The Indian Certificate of
Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) is administered
by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New
Delhi.
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has been designed as a
Course of General Education and all candidates are required to appear
for seven subjects and SUPW(Socially Useful Productive Work).
This Examination presupposes a school course of ten years' duration.
